Lost Lands 2022

Lost Lands is one of those festivals that sounds exaggerated until you’re actually there. It’s in Ohio, surrounded by cornfields, and for a few days that quiet landscape turns into a full-on bass city.

The scale (and the stage)

The first thing that hit me was the size of everything. The main stage felt absurd (in a good way). It was huge, detailed, and designed to be stared at between drops.

Production-wise, it’s the kind of setup that makes you understand why people build their whole year around this festival.

The sound

The bass at Lost Lands isn’t subtle. It’s physical. You don’t just hear it: you feel it in your chest, and it turns the whole crowd into one moving thing.
