Ubbi Dubbi 2022

Ubbi Dubbi 2022 was the kind of weekend where day one makes the whole trip worth it, and day two reminds you that festivals don’t negotiate with weather.

I showed up in my weirdest fit: part Egyptian pharaoh, part cowboy. It made zero sense, which is exactly why it worked.

Day one: the sets that hit

Excision was the clear peak for me. Heavy, loud, and dialed in: exactly what I wanted out of the night.

Black Tiger Sex Machine (BTSM) also stood out. Their set had that darker, cinematic feel that pulls the crowd in and keeps it there.

Day two: canceled, and honestly… fine

The second day got wiped out by a serious storm. People were understandably bummed, but for me the lineup didn’t feel as essential, and after how hard day one delivered, I left feeling satisfied.

Eduardo bailed early (comfort wins sometimes), but Erick and I stayed out and soaked in the night. Even with the rainout, it ended up being a solid festival memory: good sets, good friends, and no regrets.
